
According to Governor Edward G. Rendell, “For Pennsylvania to compete successfully
in the global economy, we must have a world-class, twenty-first century workforce.”
The Indiana County Technology Center’s Adult Education Program has as
its goal to educate all students for a competitive edge. The Technology Center offers
31 programs that are considered high priority occupations by the Department
of Labor and Industry. In as little as 12 to 24 months students can develop skills
that local employers are seeking. The ICTC offers daytime and evening programs in
rewarding, well-paying career fields, which include:
- Allied Health
- Practical Nursing
- Cosmetology
- Trade and Technical Programs
- Computer Applications for Business
- Computer Systems Technology
- Enrichment Programs
