The American Heart Walk is a non-competitive event that brings together participants of all ages from throughout the community. Participants raise money by asking friends, family, and co-workers to sponsor them. The money raised helps support research, local community service and public education programs. Walkers help themselves by taking the first steps toward a heart healthy lifestyle and they help others by raising funds to fight heart disease and stroke. Volunteer members from the Indiana Rotary will accompany our Interact walkers. In addition to providing an excellent community service, Interact members will have the opportunity to meet and get to know the community leaders who are members of the Indiana Rotary.
