Parents
if you are not sure what level your child is currently at just
consult with the following:
Children Ages (2-4)and (5 &Up)
Level I
This course is for the child who is not confident in the water.
Skills covered include submerging, basic coordination, safety
practices, and floating on front and back without assistance.
Level V
Child must have completed Level IV skills and
be able to demonstrate increased distances
in front crawl, and tread water using alternate kicks.
Level II
Participants should feel comfortable submerged, float on both
front & back without assistance and get in and out of water
independently. Level VI
Child must have completed Level V skills.
The child must be able to demonstrate
achieved skills in sidestroke, breast
stroke, underwater swimming, and the
dolphin kick.
Level III
Child must have completed Level II skills and must be able to
tread water for one minute. They must be able to demonstrate rhythmic
breathing and swim unassisted on their back. Tiny Tots
Designed specifically with 2-4 yr. olds
in mind. This class promotes water
safety, knowledge, practice, swimming
readiness skill, fun and participation
with parental involvement. Parents
must be in the water with their child.
Level IV
Child must have completed all Level III skills. The child should
be able to do a coordinated front crawl stroke with rhythmic breathing
and swim unassisted on their back. Advanced Tiny Tots
Children ages 2-4 yr. old must be
able to go underwater and float on
their back and front without assistance
to participate in this level. Parents
don't accompany their child,
instructors invite only.
Level
V
Child must have completed Level IV skills and be able to demonstrate
incresed distance in front crawl, elementary backstroke, back
crawl, and tread water using alternate kicks.
Tiny
Tots
Designed specifically with 2 - 4 yr. old in mind. This class promotes
water safety, knowledge, pratice, swimming readiness skills, fun
and participation with parental involvement. Parents must be in
the water with their child.
Advanced
Tiny Tots (2-4)
Children ages 2 - 4 years old must be able to under water and
float on their front and back without assistance to participate
in this level. Parents don't accompany their child, insructors
invite only!
Level
VI
Child must hae completed Level V skills. The child must be able
to demonstrate achived skills in side stroke, breast stroke, underwater
swimming and the dolphin kick.
