The ICTC partnerships with community organizations and businesses to help enhance the student experience at the ICTC. Student involvement in activities and organizations at the school help to support the school's mission statement, "Educating for a competitive edge!"

The competitive edge in today's job market means individuals need leadership and teamwork skills that the ICTC clubs and enrichment programs assist in developing through their many activities and special events. Likewise, local businesses make a positive difference with ICTC students by being involved interviewing, job shadowing, cooperative education, donating supplies and equipment and volunteering their time in program craft committees, guest speaking or Pennsylvania Skills Assessment (NOCTI).
