EDUCATOR IN THE WORKPLACE PRESENTATIONS:
During the summer of 2009, the Alliance for Business and Education Leadership was pleased to sponsor six educators who participated in the Educator in the Workplace Program. As a part of the program, educators developed a Power Point presentation that could be utilized in the classroom as part of a unit of study, or as an informational presentation about the company with whom the educator was assigned, or give a presentation to their respective school boards and/or faculty describing the hosting company and the educator’s experience. The business mentors will follow up this externship by spending a day in the classroom participating some aspect of the education process.
