EDUCATOR IN THE WORKPLACE is a course that provide an opportunity for employers and teachers to work together to help prepare students to meet the challenges of the workplace.

By participating, an employer makes more than just a contribution to the program. Hosting an educator in this work-based course is a way of investing in the future of our schools and students by providing an authentic workplace experience.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

1. Attend a briefing and a debriefing meeting
2. Work with teachers to develop a general outline of the internship
3. Spend a day in the classroom
4. Provide teachers with experience in a work culture that differs from their own

Total estimated empolyer time commitment
approximately 24 - 40 hours.

Would you be willing to sponsor the educator(s) by covering the program cost of $300.00 per educator (make checks payable to the "Excellence Foundation", ARIN IU 28).
