Educator in the Workplace
School-to-Career demands that all students be prepared for the world of work they will eventually enter. Teachers often feel unprepared to address workplace issues with their students.
Educator in the Workplace is an internship project that takes teachers out of the classroom and puts them into a work setting where they see firsthand applications of their classroom lessons. They gain confidence and knowledge about all aspects of an industry so their lessons are more relevant for students. Now the internship projects are available in 3 different sessions.
The goal of the program is to give teachers timely and accurate information along with a clear understanding of academic and technical skills needed on the job.
