The ICTC Student Government Association is a team of dedicated students with an enthusiastic faculty advisor making the student experience at the ICTC an enjoyable one. The ICTC is committed to academic, technical and leadership opportunities for every student attending.

The SGA and its program teach the students the proper way to communicate in our society.  The need for leaders and participants is taught here at the ICTC.  The ultimate goal is to have the ICTC student population know how to participate as productive members of the community both through their skilled jobs and their ability to apply their skills in leadership roles.  Volunteerism, the giving of one's talent and time to the community, is something the ICTC students learn and practice through their involvement with SGA.

The SGA meets once a month and follows the Robert's Rule of Parliamentary Procedures to permit all students the chance to learn how they can participate in all formal meeting environments.  In addition, following this procedure allows for the meetings to run in an orderly fashion under the leadership of the executive committee officers.
